• NetWorker for SunOS/Solaris: SPARCserver running SunOS 4.1.3, Solaris 2.2 or higher configured with a storage device.
  
• NetWorker for AIX/6000: RS/6000 server running AIX 3.2.5 and 4.1.2, configured with a storage device.
  
• NetWorker for HP-UX: HP 9000 Series 800 server running HP-UX 9.0x and above or Series 700 running HP-UX 9.01 and above, configured with a storage device
  
• NetWorker for SCO UNIX: SCO UNIX server running SCO UNIX 3.2v4.0 configured with a storage device.
  

Bundled Software

NetWorker comes bundled with client software for the server operating system and support for up to 10 client connections.

Product Stratification

Two versions of NetWorker for Unix are available for your network protection.

• NetWorker is ideally suited for workgroups and small, growing networks.
  
• NetWorker + TurboPak addresses the more demanding needs of large, high-growth departmental or enterprise-wide networks (not available for SCO UNIX).

Optional Software

• Client Connections increase the number of client systems protected by the NetWorker storage management server. Available in connection incremens of 5, 25, and 100 for NetWorker for AIX/6000, Solaris, and HP-UX. Available in 10 connection increments for NetWorker for SCO UNIX.
• ClientPaks deliver backup of additional client platforms.
• TurboPak catapults a NetWorker for AIX/6000, Solaris, or HP-UX server to an advanced storage management server by providing:
  - Support for concurrent backup to up to 10 storage devices.
  - Increased performance through parallelism - accepts data from up to 16 systems concurrently.
  - Automatic data cloning.
  - Support for optional Autochanger Software Modules.
  - Support for optional NetWorker Archive application.
  
• NetWorker Archive delivers data archival and retrieval services. (Not available for NetWorker for SCO UNIX.)
• Autochanger Software Modules deliver hands-free, automated backup using popular autochangers.
• Database Module for Oracle delivers automated, on-line backup for Oracle7 databases.
• The SNMP Module integrates NetWorker for Unix's storage management services with HP OpenView Network Node Manager and SunNet Manager, allowing for a single point of focus to monitor, configure and control various aspects of the network.
